Luxury conglomerate LVMH has announced significant leadership changes within its Watch Division, set to take effect from September 1, 2024. The moves are part of a strategy to elevate and upgrade the group's watch brands, supporting the growth of the LVMH Watch Division.
Ricardo Guadalupe, newly appointed Honorary President
Frédéric Arnault, CEO of LVMH Watches Division, revealed that Ricardo Guadalupe, who has been at the helm of Hublot since 2012, will transition to the role of Honorary President. Guadalupe has been instrumental in orchestrating the brand's remarkable growth over the past two decades and is now stepping back from operational management.
Taking over as CEO of Hublot will be Julien Tornare, who currently serves as CEO of TAG Heuer. Meanwhile, Antoine Pin, who has been the General Manager of Bvlgari Horlogerie since September 2019, will succeed Tornare as the new CEO of TAG Heuer.
Julien Tornare, new CEO of Hublot
In his statement, Arnault praised Guadalupe's contributions to Hublot, noting that the brand has become one of the few watchmaking manufactures to achieve such success in the 21st century by breaking design codes, communication barriers, and exploring new frontiers in watchmaking.
Arnault expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments, stating that Tornare's arrival at Hublot marks the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to the future of the Maison and the strengthening of its unique position among leading watch brands. He also welcomed Pin to the Watch Division, highlighting his extensive international experience, expertise, and recognized passion for watches as major assets for continuing TAG Heuer's growth and elevation.
These executive changes reflect LVMH's commitment to fostering innovation and growth within its prestigious watch brands, as the luxury group continues to strengthen its position in the competitive high-end watch market.
