A Hub for Global Collaboration

The Luxury Innovation Summit has become a premier event for connecting luxury professionals and fostering innovation across the industry. The 2024 edition featured a wide range of topics, including the role of artificial intelligence in luxury, the use of blockchain and NFTs, and the importance of sustainability in luxury fashion and experiences. By bringing together established brands and up-and-coming innovators, the summit encouraged a rich exchange of ideas and sparked new collaborations.

Deependra Pandey, the founder and CEO of the Luxury Innovation Summit, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between traditional luxury maisons and new brands. "Our goal is to create a space where heritage meets innovation," Pandey stated in his opening remarks. "The future of luxury lies in combining the craftsmanship of the past with the technologies of tomorrow."

One of the most exciting announcements at this year’s summit was the expansion of the event to Mumbai, India, in 2025. As the luxury market in India grows, the summit aims to connect global luxury leaders with the dynamic Indian market. "India is a natural choice for our next step," said Deependra Pandey, who has both Swiss and Indian roots. Deependra Pandey: A Vision for the Future of Luxury

In an exclusive interview, Deependra Pandey shared the inspiration behind creating the Luxury Innovation Summit. According to Pandey, the luxury industry was in need of a platform that gave emerging brands the same visibility and opportunities as established players. "There are few conferences that focus on both existing luxury brands and emerging talent," Pandey explained. "The summit is all about innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship."

Pandey also stressed the growing importance of technology and sustainability in the luxury world. "To stay relevant, luxury brands must embrace digital innovation and sustainability," he said. "Today’s young consumers are tech-savvy and environmentally conscious, and brands need to adapt to their expectations."

One of the summit’s key successes has been its ability to provide smaller brands with networking opportunities and access to funding. Pandey noted that nearly half of the startups involved in the summit secure over a million dollars in funding within a year, which demonstrates the summit’s impact on the industry.

Looking Ahead

The 6th Annual Luxury Innovation Summit reaffirmed its role as a catalyst for change in the luxury industry. As the summit prepares to expand to Mumbai in 2025, its core mission—combining innovation with luxury’s heritage—remains as relevant as ever. With technological advancements and sustainability becoming central to luxury, the summit is set to continue driving transformation in the industry for years to come.
