A unique artistic dialogue between French artist Marion Flament and Japanese artist Yu Maeda unfolds at UltraSuperNew KURA in Shibuya, Tokyo, in their exhibition "Matter[rial]s for Reflection."

The exhibition showcases Flament's mesmerizing glass works that explore light and transparency alongside Maeda's vibrant ceramic pieces inspired by mythological narratives. Visitors can experience the striking contrast between Flament's amber-to-black glass panels and Maeda's bold blue ceramic sculptures, creating an engaging conversation between materials and cultures.
This collaborative exhibition, supported by the French Embassy in Japan and Institut Français, represents a compelling fusion of French and Japanese artistic sensibilities through the transformation of raw materials.
