An Immersive Experience in the World of Horology
From April 1–5, the event will welcome industry professionals and journalists, followed by a public opening from April 5–7. Attendees can expect immersive experiences at brand booths and boutiques across the city—ranging from product presentations and interactive workshops to hands-on sessions with master watchmakers and expert talks.
Thursday, April 3 will feature the highly anticipated “In The City” evening, where Geneva’s watch boutiques extend their hours until 9 PM. To top it off, French electronic music duo Bon Entendeur will perform live at Quai Général-Guisan, bringing a festive and emotional close to the day.
A Spotlight on the Next Generation
Watches and Wonders 2025 places young talent center stage. The LAB space will highlight student innovations and startups, encouraging future watchmakers through projects made by young people, for young people. At the Watchmaking Village on the Pont de la Machine, visitors can explore educational pathways, participate in hands-on workshops, and witness live broadcasts of the SwissSkills 2025 microtechnology qualifications.
Broadening Perspectives Through Culture
This year’s program goes beyond traditional watchmaking with a rich cultural lineup. At the Salon, Geneva-based photographer Fred Merz presents “Longitude 0°”, a photographic journey along the Greenwich Meridian. The Auditorium will host thought-provoking talks on emerging talent, gender dynamics in watchmaking, the future of pre-owned watches, and the inclusion of horological arts in UNESCO’s intangible heritage list.
Meanwhile, the “In The City” cultural programming includes author meet-and-greets at Payot bookshop and a screening of Les Héritiers des Paysans-Horlogers, a documentary on the farmers-turned-watchmakers of Switzerland. Literature, philosophy, psychology, and craftsmanship will converge to highlight the deeper narrative of timekeeping.
Whether you're a collector, an aspiring watchmaker, or simply curious about the art of time, Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 promises a vibrant, hands-on celebration of horology like no other.
